P3 for Johnson in Michelin Pilot Challenge Season-Opener in Daytona

Daytona Beach, Fl - January 20, 2025 - Billy Johnson and Bob Michaelian return to the podium at the 2025 season-opener for the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge at Daytona.

Driving the No.59 KohR Motorsports Ford Mustang GT4, the duo dominated the majority of the four-hour BMW M Endurance challenge enduro. With an hour to go, the Mustang suffered from a worsening mechanical issue that found Johnson losing the lead and falling back into the pack.

Johnson was able to fend off a hard-charging group of Porsches, Mercedes, and Mustangs to bring the No. 59 home on the podium.

"It was great to start the 2025 season off with a strong finish and podium" said Johnson. "It's great to be back with Bob and KohR Motorsports. We have a lot of unfinished business from the 2022 season that we are looking forward to accomplishing the results this year that should have happened back then."
